About our project
Empowering youth to shape the next generation of safe, active, and inclusive digital citizens.
The Challenge
The digital world offers young people countless opportunities to learn, connect, and make their voices heard. Yet, many lack the skills to navigate it safely, critically, and inclusively. Misinformation, online hate speech, and unequal access can leave them vulnerable or excluded from civic life. While youth workers are key to guiding young people in becoming responsible digital citizens, they often lack practical resources, training, and engaging tools to do so effectively.
Our Approach
Pathway to Digital Citizenship Education is an Erasmus+ project that equips youth workers with the competences and tools to inspire safe, active, and positive participation online. Over 18 months, we will:
Train 20 youth workers from Croatia, Greece, Portugal, and Serbia in digital citizenship, online activism, and media literacy.
Create a multilingual Training Kit with ready-to-use activities and methods for non-formal education.
Develop an interactive online game that makes learning about digital citizenship engaging and accessible for all young people.
The Goal
Our Mission
Our mission is to equip youth workers with the competences, tools, and innovative resources they need to teach and inspire digital citizenship. Through practical training, a comprehensive toolkit, and an engaging online game, we make learning about safe, critical, and inclusive online participation accessible to all. By supporting those who guide young people, we help ensure that the next generation can thrive and lead in the digital world.
The Outlook
Our Vission
We envision a future where every young person has the skills and confidence to navigate the digital space responsibly and actively. In this future, online communities are inclusive, respectful, and driven by informed, engaged citizens who use technology for positive change. Our long-term goal is to contribute to a Europe—and a world—where digital participation strengthens democracy, equality, and human connection.
